DIlla took the section from 8:06 to 8:11 -listen to "Stakes is High" again and you'll hear that this is the portion he looped for the sample. The original records' bongos aren't as loud in this section as in the earlier sections.
from what I can hear the bongos in the sampled part are directly in the center of the track (stereophonically speaking). that could make it possible to filter them out. The method is the same for all those “voice removal software”. :-)
This is probably my favorite Dilla joint here.....wait I can't really call it dude had so many hot ones its like saying whats your favorite Stevie Wonder song.
