Yeah, but the original I Sit on Acid doesn't really sound very close to Hey Boy, Hey Girl, it's just a vague resemblance in the chord structure: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_qQLOgcVOw While it sounds like in the remix they intentionally interpolated Hey Boy, Hey Girl.

The remix was released in 2000, that's correct. But it's really a song from 1988. Due to a lack of popularity in their home country Belgium in the early nineties, they released a remix in 2000, when Lords Of Acid / Praga Kahn finally got some recognition in Belgium. To prove my point: http://www.discogs.com/Lords-Of-Acid-I-Sit-On-Acid/release/41896 Ps: Maurice Engelen from Lords Of Acid even confronted The Chemical Brothers with this weird situation @ Rock Werchter 1999. they answered: "well, everybody listens to everybody".

The Lords of Acid track is a remix first released in 2000, while the Chemical Brothers track is from 1999. That means it's shown correctly - unless you can prove otherwise...?

That's how I originally posted it here, but someone turned it around.

It's the other way around. The Chemical Brothers sampled Lords of Acid.
