I had a listen through, and though it's not the "double timed" piano hook, I believe it was layered or echoed to geth that effect for the SL2 release.

DJ Anubis said on Sunday, 26 December 2010:
Ah ok, sorry didn't bother to listen to the whole thing again, as I listened to the other one completely (for that other sample)

SmuttySy said on Sunday, 26 December 2010:
Sorry, forgot to change the timing, it's around 4 mins in

DJ Anubis said on Sunday, 26 December 2010:
Strange, made more sense with the other one (because of the piano also being sampled, I don't see how they got it out of the untouched version, an instrumental?)

SmuttySy said on Sunday, 26 December 2010:
Jah Screechy embed now changed for an untouched version

Been looking for this for quiet some time... Look at the video.. Tecktonik dancing in 1992? :D

Incidentally, the bassline on "Walk And Skank" was reused on "Police Officer" by Smiley Culture, a big UK hit single in 1985. Being honest, until now I thought that SL2 had simply recreated the same bassline for "On A Ragga Tip", so knowing that they'd sampled parts of an entire track is actually quite surprising.

NB The jah screechy link is not the original version..it's from krafty kuts instant party i think, and the scratching is krafty. but it gives a general idea.
