We've changed this to the Jimi Polo sample as, after listening to the tonality of the pianos on 'Better Days' and '40 Miles', this sounds much more like the Fatboy sample. |

I tried to post up the Jimi Polo origin, but it came up in the submission box as "already in database", therefore was in someone's pending approval cue, so just left it at that. I wouldn't go so far as to link that one to Norman, as he has trawled through the ravey stuff before simply for a break, a beat or a stab. I wouldn't count it out as being from Congress' version, short of asking the man himself I think it'll just be pure speculation. Either way, it makes up part of this sample's chain, whichever link it needs to be. |

Actually, Congress originally sampled the piano sampled in "Song for Lindy" from "Better Days" by Jimi Polo (1989). I think the Jimi Polo sample is the real sample that Fatboy Slim used. |
