I listened to the entire track of the 1956 version of "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" by The Andrews Sisters, and i found that The "Now" vocals wasn't directly sampled from neither the 1941 version nor the 1956 version. The only track that the "Now" Vocals could've been directly sampled from was another Art Of NOise track called "The Army Now (in which the male "Now" vocals appear at 1:19 and 1:21 on that song), which would be what this website calls a "Sample Chain".Now, since "The Army Now" and "Moments In Love" came from the same Album, Into Battle, i could not tell you which track was recorded first. |

Art Of NOise's "Moments in Love" does not use a direct vocal sample of "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy", but uses an interpolation of "Boogie Woogie Buglee Boy". Obviously, the "Now" vocal sample was re-recorded by different vocalists (most likely Art of NOise members Paul Morley & Trevor Horn), and The female vocal that immediately follows on "Moments In Love" sound very different from the female vocals in "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy". By the way, Camilla Pilkington did most of the vocals on "Moments In Love". |
