@ tick: i have to come to SDC's defence here: it's an edit, it's supposed to be straightforward - more of a DJ track. there's a huge scene for this right now, but the art of the edit in disco culture stretches back into the 70s... nobody is claiming to be creating new music, it's more about dancefloor friendly (and dj-friendly) reworkings of disco tracks, extending breaks and sequences and highlighting loops to bring out certain elements. in many cases the original artists are not named, but not due to artist arrogance but more in an attempt to dodge any legal bullets over unlicensed runs of vinyl pressings. I'm pretty sure this one is cleared as it's available digitally, but nevertheless the tradition still stands.... personally I feel in 2010 this version is far more playable than 'One More Time' - huge kicks and pumping sidechain compression just sounds a little passe these days... but thats just me :) |

sounds like the kind of track someone like me. an amateur mashup artist, could whip together in about an hour. No effort has gone in to finding the samples or piecing them together. |

It's like mix between One More Time and More Spell on You... not that bad at all! |

I really hope they aren't trying to make any money out of this. |
