@Fox:
It really does sound similar, why don’t you submit it?

Boney M. has finally been getting some attention in the states the past couple of years with of course this, Lady Gaga sampling the Ma-ma-ma-ma from "Ma Baker" in "Poker Face" and "Rasputin" being featured in Just Dance 2 for Wii.

I love this. Duck Sauce couldn't have had a better track if they didn't use Boney M one of the most underrated disco acts in the states. WTF in the 90s when all the countless disco comps were being released here in the state not one Boney M track was to be found. Why? Glad this sample has happened. Thank you Armand and A-Trak!

At the risk of repeating myself,,,,, "It's kind of irrelevant that Boney M did not perform it first, the sample was taken from their version." (as already stated below)

eishockeyfach said on Monday, 24 January 2011:
Ok, Hallo Bimmelbahn is unpopular in Germany. Boney M. is one of the most famous acts in the world...The exact sample is from Boney M...But Nighttrain made it...

Xanadu said on Monday, 24 January 2011:
They even included "Boney M" in their vocals.

SmuttySy said on Monday, 24 January 2011:
And I'll second that notion, whilst the original was performed by Hallo Bimmelbahn, it is very clear that it was DIRECTLY SAMPLED from the Boney M cover version. It's kind of irrelevant that Boney M did not perform it first, the sample was taken from their version.
Let's put it another way, would you say that Marilyn Manson covered Gloria Jones' Tainted Love (the original performer) or the Soft Cell cover version?. (which contains all the elements which Manson replayed in his way)
I've rejected two submissions trying to argue that Duck Sauce directly sampled Nighttrain, it doesn't, never did and never will.

We keep getting emails about this entry telling us that its incorrect and should be linked to the Nighttrain version, so I'll try and clear this up once and for all..... the sample used for 'Barbara Streisand' is from Boney M, as this entry states. The Nighttrain original has somehow been mixed up in all of this - an errant blog post or YouTube video or something perhaps.... but if you listen closely to the rhythm of the guitar in the Boney M version and compare it with the Nighttrain version you can hear that it was indeed Boney M's 'Gotta Go Home' which was sampled and not Nighttrain's 'Hallo Bimmelbahn'.

Yes yes yes! That's why we have sample/cover chains, have a look at the whole page...

Here's the official video clip. I quite like the video because of the stuff they added, those drums, the scratches, those kinda things.
