Hi Buzda I've checked the youtube link you gave, but that seems to be an edit of some sort. Perhaps this one released in 2005? http://www.discogs.com/Trammps-The--Jimmy-Bo-Horne-Rubber-Band-Dance-Across-The-Floor/release/583598 it's not unusual for edits to come out with chops specifically mimicking a recent commercial hit that sampled the original - I'd imagine this edit was a response to 'Hate It or Love It' rather than the other way round. |

Actually, they sampled from the beginning of the extended 7 minute version of "Rubber Band" which has two added notes in it that are in "Hate It or Love" and not in the 5 minute version. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXeMBLKgi8g |

Yeah, agree that the chords on "Eyes Without a Face" sound quite similar too - my guess is that this is probably just a coincidence. |

What about "Billy Idol - Eyes Without a Face". I think they sound a bit alike. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpmWIyjilQo |
