The same Bong band drum loop is sampled by industrial band Final Cut on 1992's "A Dance for the Saints". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yipifHnHMkQ

Are you sure for this one ? I don't hear the bongos. Maybe it's replayed ? Or they sampled just hi-hats and snare drum ? Anyway, there is no mention in the liner notes.

A "X and Y use the same sample, but I don't really know what, help me out" submission type would be nice: it would encourage brainstorming and cooperation that are virtually absent currently.

Yeah thanks Spy - I didn't think the original would have been Leftfield but submitted it anyway in the hope that someone would know the original. The shameful thing is that I own the record and wasn't aware of this one...

Thanks spy in the cab, this has now been updated!

I think the sample is coming from Incredible Bongo Band - Last Bongo in Belgium.
Besides, the sample used in the Leftfield song was also used in a Beastie Boys song called "Looking down the barrel of a gun" (1989).
