I tired both pasting the embed code from grooveshark and re-typing the code exactly as it was written and this website still didn't recognize the embed code.

@Kreegah I think I know what you mean- The embed doesn't work and the widget looks greyscale instead of black and yellow. This has been happening recently. What i've done is first erase the embed code in my submission form and then make sure I'm copying the embed code correctly from groovshark. Had to do this a few times but it did work eventually.

Grooveshark must have changed the embedding function quite recently, since all I'm able to get out of it nowadays are embedding codes that Whosampled doesn't recognize. The default embed seems to be a whole lotta smaller and doesn't have the colour schemes it used to have. Help, anyone?

ha word up it's a pain when the sample isn't at the very beginning. Best thing about grooveshark though, it's the only way to find obscure songs on the net sometimes.

Glad you asked, Debco7. . You've probably pressed play on the song you want so you can find the correct sample times. A box should appear on the bottom of the screen in your playlist displaying the tracks cover art, title and artist etc. right above the play/pause button. Scroll over this box - a pause button should appear. directly under it, there should be a + sign and a pin wheel looking thing to the right of it. Click the pinwheel. Then a small menu should appear saying Add song ->, share song ->, buy song->, flag song->. Click share song and then click widget out of the next set of options. Copy the embed code provided.

Plus, i'm also glad Aretha had Kanye to rap "Clean" lyrics on "School Spirit", which people can let their kids listen to without having to worry about their children picking up bad "Language" habits. Both Songs, especially "School Spirit" are classy and respectful.

Kanye did a pretty good job sampling the Piano intro and the "People Movin'" vocal from Aretha's "Spirit in The Dark", and playing the drum beats, while he recruits DeRay and Tony "Penafire" Williams" to do the background vocal harmonies and re-sing most of the lyrics from Aretha's song using the vocoder (an electronic device that maakes people sound like "Mice/Chipmunks", robots, etc. I also Love Aretha's "Spirit in The Dark", cause of her excellent piano playing and solo singing, with Sweet Inspirations doing the back-up vocal harmonies, which are pretty hilarious at times.
