Aside from the piano riff, Fatboy Slim also samples the "doo-da, doo-doo-doo-da..." vocal that appears at 2:42 on "Balance & Rehearsal".

This is a hell of a find.

It is indeed Running Back to Me, and I submitted a copy I found on the internet. I am not sure if the copy I have found is a bit clean and may be a redone studio version. The version I have on vinyl is spot on however. I hope the mods agree on the sample.

As for the Rhodes and percussion sample, yes, your right that they are likley samples but I fear we may never know either of them. The percussion sample is likley chopped up and possibly even composed of multiple percusion samples. I though for a while it might have been taken from Chic - Good Times as I can get something very similar by cutting up the percusion but my heart tells me its not right.

There is a bongo sample that comes in at the 36 mark aswell which, if anyone has Norman Cooks "Skip to My Loops" sample collection, it is featured on there, but I have no idea what he has taken that sample from.

Ruby - Runnin' Back To Me. I have a copy but it has probably already been submitted.

I also think that he sampled the rhodes 2:12. The percussion that comes in at 0:35 is probably also a sample.

(to Bazchristie) What is the drum sample from?

This is just amazing. I have been hunting for this for years. I first heard this song in 1998 and it hooked me on sampling, in particular it was this Paino that brought me in.
I have the drum sample he used in this track on vinyl, if I can be bothered to record it or can find a copy on-line I will submit it. That would complete the samples used in this track I believe.
