That remake by Stationary is convincing, well done. |

Yep, seems pretty obvious this is the correct source. But do you think they were trying to interpolate Floyd or 23 Skidoo using the Crusaders sample? |

Ok, here's my attempt at using "The Well's Gone Dry" to make the "Block Rockin' Beats" bassline: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xhy34e_bassline-reconstruction-the-chemical-brothers-block-rockin-beats-the-crusaders-the-well-s-gone-dry_music |

My theory was that The Chemical Brothers rearranged the bass parts from "The Well's Gone Dry" to make the bassline for "Block Rockin' Beats". Could be wrong, though. |

I've heard several theories on this one. That it's an interpolation of Pink Floyd's "Let There Be More Light" or 23 Skidoo's "Coup". I wouldn't put it past them to reuse a sample the original Dust Brothers used. |

If this is indeed the bassline sample (which I'm not 100% convinced it is) shouldn't the 23 Skidoo one be removed? It is tenuous at the best anyway. |
