I didn't say Human Resource sampled Mentasm, just that they both use the same sound from the same piece of gear. My point being that the Hoover could have been sampled or created from scratch on a Juno 2 by the producer of Bad Romance. |

Yes, its known as the Mentasm riff or "hoover", first used in Mundo Muzique's Mundo EP, made popular by Second Phase's Mentasm. It comes from a Roland Alpha Juno 2 synthesizer present called "What The". |
