From their Wiki: "Kraftwerk were one of the first groups to popularize electronic music and are considered pioneers in the field." So no big surprise, and it's not only hiphop that's sampling Kraftwerk. Very influencial is the least you can say :) I'm tempted to say they did to electronic music what the Beatles did for Rock, but that might be giving them just a bit TOO much credit :) |
