They are two brilliant prosucers. I want to know where the vocal sampe is.

You can definitely hear and feel the influence Todd Edwards gave Daft Punk when they started working on this track. So much brilliant chopping and sampling here. And I never would have guessed they sampled a Billy Joel song!

Yea, I'm pretty sure the vocal is taken from this song too. Listen to that sample and then listen to Joel's inflection on his track - it's pretty similar. It's just hard to pinpoint exactly what piece of the song they sampled because they have the vocal sample chopped up or playing backwards or something.

Is the sax sample the only thing they sampled from the Billy Joel song? Or did the vocal part that goes "Bedda ___ ba" also come from this song? I just can't tell and I've always wanted to know where the vocal sample came from!

Thanks =D

The way they flipped that always amazes me.

Man, I grew up with parents who loved Billy Joel, and then when I was like 14, Homework came out, and I knew that sax sample sounded familiar... it took me a while to figure out why though. Good submission.
