You can definitely hear and feel the influence Todd Edwards gave Daft Punk when they started working on this track. So much brilliant chopping and sampling here. And I never would have guessed they sampled a Billy Joel song! |

Yea, I'm pretty sure the vocal is taken from this song too. Listen to that sample and then listen to Joel's inflection on his track - it's pretty similar. It's just hard to pinpoint exactly what piece of the song they sampled because they have the vocal sample chopped up or playing backwards or something. |

Man, I grew up with parents who loved Billy Joel, and then when I was like 14, Homework came out, and I knew that sax sample sounded familiar... it took me a while to figure out why though. Good submission. |
