I knew this when I got the score album in 96 and argued with my friends. Being such an Enya fan I was shocked that the Fugees never mention her in the thank yous and it made it hard to prove my point. Thanks for the info here.

The Fugees took an already atmospheric song, extracted the best part of it, and turned it into a modern masterpiece. This is the reason why sampling should be considered an art form and not merely "stealing" from someone else.
