It wasn't the drums in HBFS that were irritating him, it was the ones in Stronger itself. When he heard the first mix on the radio, it didn't sound right to him. If you listen, the people in the video talk about a Britney Spears remix that went through 10 mixes, because Kanye is such a perfectionist. That's why he had to get Timbaland to get the drums to sound right.

I like how this page is looking though. Both songs use samples, they've been sampled, been remixed and been covered.
