I admit, when I submitted this, I also felt it was a borderline case, but my feeling was that it's just inside rather than outside the border! It's the same key sequence exactly, but just slightly different timing on a couple of the notes. I see what you're saying about it being an easy bassline, but I don't think that precludes it from being a replayed sample. |

This one is on the boundary IMO. In fact I was thinking about submitting it too but for me it was not convincing enough. It is just a very easy bassline. My first basslines sounded like this too. |
