    I think they should have changed the name when they changed their style.

    It's amazing how money change people.
    For me BEP is still the group which rose from DJ Premier to David Guetta... in 1999 it was classy to listen to the BEP, 10 years later it sucks...

    like that was a dope song. BEP featuring q-tip, talib kweli, cee lo, john legend no fergie to be found. on the same album as my humps oddly enough

    @Jay

    I feel exactly the same way!

    Classic example of hip hop selling out and going pop. I liked them better when they sampled Jorge Ben and didn't have Fergie.

    I see it's on Wikipedia, the remix is the deadmau5 of "You and I" by Medina.

    @buzzered: Where did you find this information? If it is true, it will be the easiest to determine which song it is by listening closely to the parts at 2:23, 2:45 (wooshy sounds) and 3:45 (bass sounds). From the top of my mind I couldn't tell you which deadmau5 song (or remix) it might be.

    apparently the beat is lifted from a deadmau5 remix
    too hard to verify I guess

    Then I agree ;) I started hesitating as soon as I posted it... Heard it on the radio today and I made the connection then, but you're right, it's a no... the timing isn't close enough

    I vote no.

    Is the "mirror mirror on the wall..." at 3:14 (or as I like to call it Pi-timing) close enough to Slick Rick's to be considered a sample? I know Slick Rick didn't invent that saying but the way BEP says it... I vote yes! ;)

    I loved their first album. I never supported anything BEP after that wack song with Timberlake. This is even more annoying.

    For some reason I only vote if I love something, or if I hate it... This one I just dislike, even moreso if you know that Will.i.am can make such great tracks (listen to first two albums, and the work he produced for other peeps) this really disappoints me... Was also surprised there's only one cover of this song (I think I can remember looking for more when I added the KP & PA cover)

    @DJ Anubis: And you didn't vote yet o_0

    There must be more people covering/sampling "(I've Had) the Time of My Life"...

    Pff, these guys used to make pretty good music, but now... come on now
