Really? OK, then P5's track should most definitely be connected to Chill Rob G's track. It sounds more like an interpolation to me, though.

Apparently the sax in Chill Rob G's track isn't sampled, and was performed by Jack Bashkow. So I do think that "Xxxxxxxxxman" probably samples from either Chill Rob G or Nomad.

Thanks for all the response guys! I wasn't expecting this much talk. First off to correct myself, I should have said pre-1991 dance music cause P5's album was released on Janurary 1st of 1991! Secondly, our database says Nomad's track samples from Chill Rob G but a part of me thinks both of them and P5 are sampling from something else. I'm torn. :/ As for the CeCe... dosen't seem strong enough of a connection.

White Lines is definitely reproduced in this. Just had another listen through Finally and although it's not right it's got the same "feel" to it. You could quite easilly hear those vocals over that section if it were mashed together. Probably from a track of the same era.

Yeah ok, should've listened to the sampled track :) & Still not sure about that Grandmaster MELLE MEL White lines bassline, it sounds pretty close to me, might be an interpolation?

Hooverphonic also used that "a new stereophonic sound spectacular" sample... it's even the name of their first album. Anyone know the origin? Probably a movie? Smutty, totally agree on Nomad (nice), don't hear the Ce Ce Peniston part though

& isn't that opening bassline from White Lines from Grandmaster flash? (haven't compared, just a wild guess)

The secondary beat and bass that comes in just after the halfway point reminds me of Finally by Ce Ce Peniston, but I'm not absolutely certain of that one.
The horns near the end are from Nomad's I Wanna Give You Devotion

To all those who are knowledgeable in pre-1992 dance music: Do you recognize any samples in the later half of P5's track?
