I was just listening to "Bulworth" by Method Man, KRS-One, Prodigy, and Kam. Could it be a common sample? Check it out at 1:17. It ends up going way longer than in Buffalo Gals and any other song I know of.

@orientalsulphur - actually, that source you provided seems even more modern than Buffalo Gals. I'm pretty sure there is a drum sample at the 02.25 mark with some drums used in The Real Roxanne's Bang Zoom (the bit where Bugs Bunny asks "are you the voice of this here orchestra?"). And the drums at 03.20 are almost identical to those at the intro of Dexter Wansel's Theme From The Planets.
I looked into Amon Düül 2's discography and this song is from the 1978 album Only Human. However this song is only included on the re-release version in the bonus tracks which came out in 2005 which leads me to believe that this song must be much more recent.
    I think the mystery continues.....

Repo is right, the sample is from an Amon Duul II record, found here at 3:16:

Submission has been sent - pending approval.

Some parts sound like "Humpty Dance" too! HAHA

The Montenegro 'womp' was actually used by Shadow and Cut Chemist on the Brainfreeze record.

@lazer - I came here looking for the sample used as I don't know it. What I do know is that Hugo Montenegro most definitely is not the source. The sample used in Buffalo Gals is slightly longer.

why you say "definitely not!" without giving the right source?... so you just believe it`s not correct.
