And don't forget the Buckshot album!

9th Wonder & Buckshot - The Solution
9th Wonder & Murs - The Final Adventure

Both must-haves! I will say this once and for all:

November 13, 2012 is a historic day for fans of 9th Wonder. Not just because of the release of the two albums. But mainly because these two albums mark the return of what is usually refered to as the "classic/vintage 9th Wonder sound".

Don't you agree? I can't be the only one who feels that way. Sooner or later people will understand...

So excited and happy about this!

And props for already putting up so many of the samples. Fantastic selection from 9th.

Some people say 9th has become boring - and on a few occasions I would have agreed. Actually I didn't really like all of his recent output but now he's OFFICIALLY BACK - DOING WHAT HE DOES BEST!

Of course man, I'm a fan like you. Just giving you a hard time. Btw, the Sean Price - Mic Tyson goes hard.

I'm wondering (no pun intended, lol) why there aren't more comments in this section.
There are many producers who know how to work with samples. Of course, I'm a fan of the legends like Dilla, DJ Premier or Pete Rock, just to name a few. But I guess 9th will always have a special place in my heart. Part of the reason why I'm now so into 70s soul records is because of 9th's productions. Seriously, I love this dude's choice of samples. It's like he constantly picks the most beautiful and most delicious sounds. While other producers tend to use more obscure/abstract samples, 9th mostly makes these joyful "feel good beats". Imo, this is his specialty, and that's what I love about him. For many years now, I always said "I hope he never changes up this sound too much" - and that's still true to this very day.

So 9th, if you're reading this: please keep on doing, what you're doing. That vintage boom bap sound is here to stay! And thanks for all the great music discoveries, I probably wouldn't have come across without your samples.

I always thought: 9th's beats taught me how to appreciate 70s soul music even more, and 70s soul music taught me how to appreciate 9th's beats even more. I think there's a strong connection.
