80's 90's Funk / Disco

Hi all,

first post here, i really hope someone can help

Wanting to find tunes of a similar feel to 'All night Long' by Mary Jane Girls. Great tune, great beat, great production. Can anyone please offer me some wisdom on similar tracks

You can try a well known tune Keni Burke's Rising To The Top


...or Tawatha Agee's Thigh Ride(click on the name)

bayantheone, nothing to harshly synthy, mid temp beat. The keni Burke tune above is good example. Thjanks a bunch for that one4gippa.

Rene & Angela 'I love you more' is another example.

SOS Band's Even When You Sleep:


Check out SOS's tunes during the Jimmy Jam/Terry Lewis era-it should help you out. A good disc would be SOS Band In One Go(might be hard to find) or at least their Greatest Hits..
