This is my first post on this forum. I wanted to point out a a sample that anyone who's tone deaf can hear it.

Exhibit A:

Right from the get go, you hear the original sample. I press submit and I automatically get this response from the website: Thanks for your submission. However, it was declined since this sample was previously rejected.

My reaction... Rejected?! How can it be rejected? It's a direct sample from Joe Simon albeit Compton's Most Wanted lowered the pitch. Hopefully, webmasters can add this submission to the database... and it's clear as night as day.

Hmmm, I knew that this was the sample used before reading your post, bit surprised it wasn't already added but then more surprised that you said it was previously rejected. Send an email to support@whosampled.com n ask them to have a look at it n it should get approved but the submission will be credited to whoever sent it first time round.

The main reason this happens is earlier entries are made with errors like wrong timings or videos and are rejected becuase the correct sample isn't heard. Once it gets rejected the system believes it's incorrect and will automatically refuse any further submissions for the same sample.

Having said that, all submission sent to us are saved, even rejected ones, so we can easily go back, find the earliest and correct the mistakes. Which is what I have done :-)
