As you probably know we have some very special guests attending our 3rd Birthday Party - the original members of The Mohawks! This is the group that brought us the song 'The Champ' which, if you are on this site, needs no introduction. We are going to conduct an interview with them and capture it all on camera, so that we can share it back those of you that can't be there that evening.

Do they like any of the music that sampled them and if so, do they have a favorite song that samples the champ?

What was your first reaction when you found out that your material had been sampled? Did you feel flattered or frustrated?

I've read a few places now that he has a lot of unreleased tracks. Will these ever tunes ever get to see my 1210's?

Did anyone or anything in particular inspire "The Champ"? Or did you just need a word for a chorus?

Was "The Champ" inspired by Otis Redding & Carla Thomas' "Tramp"?
