It's okay, I think it's not a remix, just an extended version. |

So would it be ok to consider the video mix as the original mix as differences know appear minor? or are we hunting for the 3:51 version as original? |

I have their comp on Rhino: the exact time there is 3'51". The one we have now is a bit longer (called the video edit) due to an introduction by Lady Kier. From what I read in the liner notes Bootsy (vocals) and Q-Tip (rap) were in there from day one. It also features Maceo Parker and Fred Wesley on "horny horns" btw. |

Thx for helping out Stationary... This version has some additional ones (I heard Madonna in there).... Let's hope someone can verify this is the one we're looking for (did hear Q-Tip & Bootsy Collins though). |

Could it be this one? I'm listening to it right now, pretty sure all the samples are there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJvELMEjJUc |

Does anyone know what the original mix is of "Groove Is In The Heart", apparently the video version we currently have feat. Bootsy Collins & Q-Tip is actually a remix (Meeting Of The Minds Mix). Are all samples also in the original & are just Bootsy & Q-Tip featured in this mix or...? |
