It's okay, I think it's not a remix, just an extended version.

DJ Anubis said on Saturday, 28 August 2010:
So would it be ok to consider the video mix as the original mix as differences know appear minor? or are we hunting for the 3:51 version as original?

walter said on Saturday, 28 August 2010:
I have their comp on Rhino: the exact time there is 3'51". The one we have now is a bit longer (called the video edit) due to an introduction by Lady Kier. From what I read in the liner notes Bootsy (vocals) and Q-Tip (rap) were in there from day one. It also features Maceo Parker and Fred Wesley on "horny horns" btw.

Thx for helping out Stationary... This version has some additional ones (I heard Madonna in there).... Let's hope someone can verify this is the one we're looking for (did hear Q-Tip & Bootsy Collins though).

Could it be this one? I'm listening to it right now, pretty sure all the samples are there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJvELMEjJUc

Does anyone know what the original mix is of "Groove Is In The Heart", apparently the video version we currently have feat. Bootsy Collins & Q-Tip is actually a remix (Meeting Of The Minds Mix). Are all samples also in the original & are just Bootsy & Q-Tip featured in this mix or...?
