We had fun shooting that picture, Jay-Z dropped by and we went out. What a night...

DJ Anubis said on Monday, 06 September 2010:
^^ Was thinking the same! Look at her checking her accent ;)

Spinks said on Monday, 06 September 2010:
Yep, that photo was taken right after you called her, look how happy she is!

DJ Anubis said on Monday, 06 September 2010:
Beyoncé was so happy when I called her to say Whosampled fixed her name ;)

Xanadu said on Monday, 19 April 2010:
Okay, here's how it should be (in my opinion): Names must be displayed with accents and punctuation. When searching it should work either with or without accents, e.g. 'Beyonce' equals 'Beyoncé' . I also think articles (the, a and an) should be stripped from autofill, so 'Wailers' could result in 'The Wailers'.

It probably doesn't bother Beyonce as much as it does you. Though there is a famous story of Jose Feliciano strangling a man with his guitar for calling him "Josie". Just a joke... don't want Feliciano after me.

DJ Anubis said on Monday, 19 April 2010:
Have the same problem with russian/chinese symbols (copy/paste and isn't that why we have the autofill function in the submit form?) but I understand the difficulty for the search function. On the other hand, would you like it if anyone would spell your name wrong? Same could go for Curren$y or any name with a "-" in.. try looking if D.A.D. or D-A-D or DAD or .... is on the site, if you know what I mean...

MrBlondNYC said on Monday, 19 April 2010:
The admins prefer without such punctuation because it makes it easier for searching. I for one do not have the ability to put accents or umlauts on letters.

DJ Anubis said on Monday, 19 April 2010:
@ Admins: sorry to be picky but some artists really need editing (I can't report em all apart, so:...) Beyoncé, Céline Dion, José Feliciano... Or do we not care about punctuation anymore? ;) It's bad enough al these rappers can't spell their name (ie Blak Panta), my how cool it looks written like that :) & what's up with those Lil & Lil' s...
