Yes I also believes so!! That Jay-Z is the best rapper of all time.
haha not that predictable to me, that made me laugh :)
Yes, it's been that way on a number of more recent releases it seems but 'confirmed' last month:http://finance.yahoo.com/news/jay-z-officially-drops-hyphen-150900086.html... which predictably prompted the disposed hyphen to start a twitter account, start appearing for sale on Craig's list, eBay etc.
Yeah I spoke too quick, apparently just the two I checked (because Watch the Throne doesnt even have the names on the front & on Magna Carta there might be one, who knows ^^) But my eyes fell on the Otis single cover art & No church in the wild.
Really? Everything including and after Watch the Throne uses Jay Z.
Ah found the article, still wondering why. I get why Snoop changed his name, but this is kinda pointless. Plus most of the cover art still uses Jay-Z...
His publicist confirmed the "name change". There's an article somewhere about it.
He hasn't used it since 2010 and they just noticed.
So where did his "-" go?
$100 Bills sampled 'Spiral' by Vangelis. Using a mobile device, so I can't submit the entry.
Didn't the 2012 song "Glory" sample another song? I remember seeing it here. I think it was a Curtis Mayfield song.
Movie samples have different requirements in terms of metadata, licensing etc. - we're certainly planning to have them in the future though. You can see more in the discussion here: http://www.whosampled.com/forum/topic/216/Movie-samples.../
Movie samples aren't allowed as yet. They're still working on this feature.
I did not know movie samples are not allowed here. Is there a reason why?
It does indeed (best sample ever).Shame it can't be submitted though, seeing as movie samples aren't allowed. :[
Doesn't "N****s in Paris" sample a Will Ferrell movie called "Blades of Glory"? There's a part in the song where dialogue from the movie appears.
This is the original credited song from where Jay-Z and Kanye sampled on "Murder to Excellence". The song is called "La La La" and it is the compostion of Mihaela and Gabriela Modorcea a.k.a. Indiggo Twins:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iT5_EB4OMuUTake out the fake videos you posted.
I've just heard that Jay-Z is gonna try and launch JLS in America... please, don't.He'll lose serious credibility in my book if he goes any where near JLS. Not happy.
I love his "Trouble" track, but what's up with all the "lil n****s" at the end? Inspiration ran out?
Jay-Z is the best rapper of all time.
